Dysperse Dyes
Dysperse dyes are primarily used in the dyeing and transfer printing of polyester and other synthetic fabrics.
While our literature sheets cover the dyeing of fabrics and textiles, these are also often used in the colouring of plastic jewellery and buttons, PVC rods, and PVC/PES film.
As shown in the colour cards, when dyeing polyester at 95°C, a range of pastel shades can be achieved. The 95°C shade examples are generally the darkest colour achievable when dyeing at this temperature.
When dyeing, Dysperse dyes require a higher heat (around 130°C) to attain the stronger colours, which is achievable under pressure.
When transfer printing, the full range of pastel-dark shades is achievable.
